Frequently Asked Questions

Event Hire - FAQs

How will participants listen to the Auracast broadcast?

We can provide dedicated Aurcast receivers that can connect to participants own headphones via 3.5m jacks or through headphones/earbuds provided by us.

If a guest has T-Loop on their hearing aids, we can provide a neck loop and receiver pack.

If a guest’s hearing aid, earbuds, headphones or phone are Auracast enabled, they will be able to directly connect to the broadcast without any extra equipment being needed.

How many people can listen to the same Auracast broadcast?

Unlimited, as long as they have access to an Auracast device.  We will site visit before the event to ensure we provide enough transmitters to cover the area.

What audio will be available through the Auracast broadcast at our event?

We arrange for a feed from your event sound system which enables anything amplified in the room to be fed to the Auracast stream. From speech to music to video audio.

We can provide full event audio services including PA hire and sound engineers if this is required.

Will you provide a technician to support on the day?

Yes. We have trained technicians who will set up the system and support your clients to access the broadcast.

Can we hire the Auracast kit without a technician?

Yes. However, you will then need to have your own technician onsite who can set up, commission the system and support during the event.

Can you help with other technical production services for our event?

Yes. Our parent company Big Door Broadcast Ltd are very experienced in the live events industry and can provide full production services.  Please ask us for details.
